Close Quarters Self Defense  Krav Maga is located in Barrie, Ontario. It was created with the intention of bringing effective self defense techniques to emergency response personnel and anyone wanting to learn the self defense system developed by Imi Lichtenfeld currently used by the Israeli Defense Forces. By focusing on self defense rather than on a sport oriented martial art, CQSD KRAV MAGA provides a system that is effective on the street where anything can happen. The muscle memory and threat responses learned, better prepares the student to deal with dangerous altercations by being able to respond to different attacks. In street violence there is no such thing as taping out like in MMA or Jiujitsu, there are no rules when it comes to only one person at a time, no rest periods or fighting for points. With the instruction of Krav Maga and Fit to Fight, a program designed to enhance all aspects of self defense training, the students will emerge confident that they have the tools necessary to protect themselves and their families in virtually any hostile situation. 

Close Quarters Self Defense  Krav Maga is in the strong belief that in order to prevent children from being victimized they need to show a powerful front by being confident in their demeanor. We have created a Self-Esteem /  Krav Maga program called KIDS FORTITUDE, specifically designed for children, to boost their self esteem and confidence making them less susceptible to bullying while learning the art of self defense of Krav Maga.

CQSD KRAV MAGA will teach you proven, quick resolution, self defense techniques in response to violent altercations. The students are given practical techniques that they can use from the very first class.
